This position is taking place at a well-known biotech company in Warsaw, Indiana. This is a 12 month temporary position at 40 hours per week. JOB DESCRIPTION Analytical / Process development Chemist The successful candidate will have a solid background in chemistry and experience working on process development within an R D environment. 3-5 years or more industrial R D experience preferred. This person's primary duties will involve working with a small team to develop and execute analytical chemistry methods supporting scale-up and characterization of a process for deposition of calcium phosphate coatings on orthopaedic implants and developing suitable analytical methods supporting the process.. A bachelor s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering is required. Knowledge of Atomic Absorption, UV-Viz, and titration based analytical chemistry is required. Employee will follow laboratory procedures and safety guidelines, maintain detailed laboratory notebooks, and prepare technical reports as needed. Basic Requirements: Self-starter and team player with good communication skills. Good analytical and problem solving skills. Hands on knowledge of research and laboratory practices. Knowledge of the following areas is a plus: SEM, titration based analytical chemistry, P ID s.
