PROCESS ENGINEER

Job Summary: Perform process design and calculation work including:
Keep lead engineer or supervisor informed of the decisions that affect a particular design
Provide alternative process design schemes and perform economic evaluations
Perform SQUAD checks
Participate in technical meetings (design and PID reviews, MOC, HAZOP, PSSR, Vendor/Client meeting, etc.)
Assist in start-up of units and preparing operating instructions/manuals
Prepare memos, meeting notes, technical documents, and reports
Provide technical assistance to other disciplines and to the client
Qualifications:
Degree in Chemical / Process Engineering or closely related field with practical experience in chemical, oil/gas
15+ years relevant experience (able to work with minimal supervision and perform lead duties)
Chemical/Process engineering design and calculation skills must
Knowledge of Word, Excel, Power point, and other windows programs
Proficiency in use of process simulation software
Working knowledge of relevant API and ASME codes
Strong organization and communication skills
Ability to multi-task, and a willingness to quickly change work assignments
Ability to work well in a multi-discipline team environment with office-based and field-based technical and specialist staff
Oil Gas facility engineering experience is a plus
Strong desire to learn, work in a team environment
Ability to travel locally as needed
Must be a United States Citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S.A. without sponsorship
