Process Engineer Job in Blackburn, North West UK
Within this role we are looking for someone to provide support to the Manager of the manufacturing team to ensure that the team and manufacturing/development programmes fulfil customer requirements. Working closely with the engineering team to ensure product designs are manufactured efficiently with a smooth transition onto the shop floor, with all relevant documentation to guarantee product quality. Support and problem solving on both the sub assembly and final assembly product lines is essential.
The role also requires someone to support and develop the manufacturing strategy in order to incorporate new designs and developments into production in line with business requirements.
You will be required to look at ways of improving methods of manufacture, and updating the production improvement plan to reflect the suggested changes and reduce product manufacturing cost. You will also be expected to liaise with trade suppliers of new tooling and fixtures.
