PROCESS ENGINEER
Our client, a leading manufacturer, is currently looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities
- Supporting operations by providing input for process improvements
- Troubleshooting issues as they arise in the manufacturing process
- Documenting processes developing training programs
- Ensuring process robustness by establishing parameters within product specifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Technology field
- 5+ Years of Manufacturing Engineering experience
- Strong Planning, project management, and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Experience in plastic manufacturing and composite materials
- Experience in extrusion or compounding equipment and processes would be an asset
- Proven knowledge of engineered resins, methods of heating and cooling plastics and tooling design would be an asset
- Knowledge of commercial processes such as compression molding, vacuum forming, extrusion and injection molding would be an asset
