Process Engineer Our client is one of the most respected diversified global manufacturing companies in the world and we are recruiting a qualified PVC Process Engineer who has experience supporting manufacturing of the sheet extrusion process and PVC compounding process to join their growing team. This PVC Process Engineer will also help lead the startup of a new compounding and sheet extrusion line. In addition, this position has the responsibility to ensure quality of incoming raw materials, as well as compounds and products manufactured on the sheet extrusion line. The PVC Process Engineer will be a liaison with RD for formulation management and product development. Job Responsibilities: Support processes and ensure that all processes are running trouble free. Products include PVC compounds and membranes for roofing, geomembrane, and other applications. Assist with capital projects related to mixing, compounding and extrusion as required by the Plant Manager. Lead quality management of PVC products at the plant, including incoming raw materials, work in progress compounds, finished goods quality and audit. Work with the RD as well as Sales/Marketing groups to ensure product quality issues are solved in a satisfactory and timely manner. Oversee projects related to new technology development as well as equipment analysis. Job Requirements: A Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Physical Science or Engineering required. Candidates must have five (5) years of experience in PVC compounding and sheet extrusion / calendaring.
