Job Summary The Process Engineer is primarily responsible for assisting the Power-Recovery-Caustic Superintendent Assistant Superintendent. He/she is also responsible for gaining an overall understanding of the production process. The individual is also responsible for monitoring the production process for safe and efficient operations and making innovative changes as necessary. The individual will also troubleshoot any adverse operations and effectively devise a plan of action. Responsibility - Assists in troubleshooting problems and teaching others how to react - Assists in the planning and completion of production projects - Maintains communications with customers while helping correct problems. - Assists in organizing and implementing any changes or trials - Makes daily checks of production output and contributing factors - Promotes daily safety communications while helping ensure a clean environment - Administratively track any trials, changes and continual production information - Process customer complaints offering corrective actions. Education Work Experience Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Pulp Paper Engineering.
