We are seeking for an EU Process Engineer (m/f)
As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for improving the order fulfillment solutions that meet our customer's needs for rapid, timely top-quality service while increasing efficiencies to minimize fulfillment costs.
To ensure our existing fulfillment centers are operating at the best practice, this role will specifically standardize processes and configurations and then implement them successfully through mechanisms such as training and auditing. You will dive deep into issues to implement innovative solutions to better the Amazon customer experience. New fulfillment technologies will be developed, piloted and implemented with the Amazon software teams using the latest global Amazon and industrial best practices. Successful candidates will be excellent communicators, highly motivated and effective within distributed teams.
Responsibilities:
- Excellent analytical skills to evaluate complex processes and financial scenarios.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Demonstrate strong track record of team leadership within a large scale rapid and process driven environment, whilst also being able to handle multiple projects.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen techniques
- Previous experience in operational logistics/supply chain roles, ideally relating to warehouse and fulfillment storage solutions
- Ability to travel up to 50% of time to analyze, implement, monitor best practice solutions.
- Sound business acumen
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and related software.
- Fluent in English
Candidates will ideally be at least degree qualified in a Science or Logistics based discipline or be a direct MBA or MSc graduate. Six Sigma Green or Operational Black Belts welcome.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of at least one other EU language desirable (French, German, Italian or Spanish advantageous).
- Proficiency in SQL beneficial.
