Due to business growth, CountryMark, Indiana’s only American-owned oil exploration, production, refining and marketing company, is seeking candidates for the following positions located in our Mt. Vernon, IN offices.
Process Engineer
Description: Process Engineers are responsible for Refinery unit/utility performance monitoring and optimization, developing operating procedures and troubleshooting process related problems. You will identify, justify, and develop improvement projects, and provide engineering designs and process engineering services during engineering, construction and startup of large capital projects. Works closely with Environmental, Operations, Safety, Planning and Economics during all phases of project development and execution. BS ChemE, minimum 5 years process engineering work experience in an oil refining or chemical manufacturing environment. Strong process analysis, project mgmt and business analysis skills sets. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop effective business relationships at all levels.
Mechanical Engineer
Description: Providing technical support to ongoing equipment maintenance, develop and enhance equipment reliability programs, support the mechanical integrity program, and maintain equipment records. Identify, justify, and develop improvement projects. Provide engineering designs and mechanical engineering services during front end engineering, construction and startup of large capital projects. Works closely with Environmental, Operations, Safety, Planning and Economics during all phases of project development and execution. BS ME, minimum 5 years experience developing and implementing mechanical integrity and maintenance programs, participation in project engineering / design projects. Strong business acumen. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop effective business relationships at all levels.
Safety Manager
Description: Accountable for development, implementation and compliance of Personal and Process Safety programs for our Refinery and Logistics organization. Development and tracking of PSM/Personal Safety Metrics Safety Audit, Development of safety related work process and procedures, Safety Program Compliance tracking and reporting, Contractor Safety management and auditing, Safety equipment and service purchasing/management, OSHA 1910.119 and EPA RPM Program Management including: Process Safety Information, Action item closure, MOC, PHA, Integrity management, investigations, procedures, etc. as defined within the subject regulations. Development of Risk Management Plans. ChemE Degree preferred but not required. General Refinery operations or similar experience in an industrial environment. Specific Personal and Process Safety Experience, Strong interpersonal skills, Risk Identification skills, Supervisory Experience also preferred.
Plant Accountant
Description: Assist with the development, implementation and oversite of robust Managerial Accounting methods and practices within our Refining and Pipeline operations. Collect and analyze internal operational data, as well as external market data, for use in analysis of operational performance. Utilizes data analysis methods to identify and assess the causes of both operational and financial performance outcomes of the organization, and consults with operations management regarding areas of focus for improved performance. Tracks and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) that will be used to assess operational performance. Responsible to ensure compliance with GAAP requirements, while maintaining focus managerial accounting analysis and consulting with business unit leaders. Will provide data and analysis for use in preparation of periodic financial statements. BS in Finance, Accounting. 5+ yrs experience in a process manufacturing environment providing managerial accounting support and consulting services to manufacturing operations staff. Solid understanding of GAAP and Managerial Accounting concepts and ability to utilize both effectively. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to establish and maintain strong business consulting relationships at all levels in the organization. CMA certification CPA or work towards are highly desirable.
