ENGINEER
Medical manufacturer of a broad range of gel based products is seeking a Process Engineer to support our manufacturing activity. Responsibilities include formation, submission and execution of productivity improvement projects; design, validate and commission new production equipment and tooling, monitor modifications and upgrades and troubleshoot existing processes. Works closely with other departments and outside vendors to support new and modified product releases into production. Successful candidate must have a 4 year degree in a related engineering or technical field, with a minimum 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment, in an engineering capacity involving tooling/fixture design, product design, PLC programming/Logic analysis and capital funds justification, analysis and implementation. Strong knowledge in computer aided design software; preferably SolidWorks and Microsoft Office project management software; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Knowledge of plastic; injection molding, casting, laminating or dipping, standard costing, routing and Bill of Material development desired. Familiarity with ISO 9001 and FDA regulations desirable.
