Process Engineer & Senior Engineer

Process Engineer– San Jose, CA - SOLAR

Full-time – Exempt 


Position Purpose:

·         Maintain and improve developed Unit processes using Statistical process control and Design of experiments.

·         Responsible for an entire fleet of tools by area to deliver clean, stable and available tools for processing.

 

Key Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities of this Position:

 

Minimum Requirements

Demonstrated experience and ability to complete the Key Tasks above, plus:

·         M.S. in Materials Sci./ Materials Eng./ Chemical Eng./ Mechanical eng./ Chemistry or Physics PLUS 3 years of experience in Process Engineering in a clean room

OR

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Sci./ Materials Eng./ Chemical Eng./ Mechanical eng./ Chemistry or Physics PLUS 5 years of experience in Process Engineering in a clean room

OR

·         If no formal degree, should have 10 years of experience in Process Engineering in a clean room

 

·         Knowledge of SPC and DOE (either coursework or as part of previous experience)

·         Experience in working with Customers and Equipment vendors in a 24x7 Fab environment 

·         Must have excellent communication and customer interaction skills

 Special Physical Requirements

·         Will have to be able to work in a clean room and wear a smock.

·         Should not be allergic to Latex gloves.

·         Safety glasses required while working

·         Some areas require hearing protection

 Other Special Conditions

·         Travel - None

·         Relocation Provided - No
