Job Description Summary

The role of the process engineer is to evaluate existing processes and configure manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve product quality and develop best practices within the production process. 

The main focus is to:

·         Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving the run rates, costs and changeovers. 

·         Identify, develop and implement innovation solutions to improve the process capability while maintaining and improving quality standards

·         Drive continuous improvement by developing and implementing systems that optimize the production process

·         Provide technical inputs for incident investigation, root cause analysis and corrective action

 

Qualifications:

·         Strong computer skills (MS Office, HMI) with an ability to learn new tools quickly

·         Working knowledge and understanding of HMI and PLC systems and software such as Interlution, Wonderware and Autocad.

·         Creative problem solving skills

·         Proven track record of the ability to follow up and follow through

·         Good-natured, flexible team player

·         Willing to work with and around chemicals

·         Ability to prioritize and multi task

Education/Experience

Bachelor of Science (B.S.) engineering major: or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
