The TIMQ Process Engineering Manager provides overall SC leadership for Innovation Risk Assessments (technical and quality functions), plant trials, assessment of new raw material and packing material suppliers for Innovation, assessment and validation for in- house and co-making capabilities for the product group.

* Develop and maintain Technology roadmaps and Core Designs (Process Engineering) and supports regional engineering teams in their deployment.
* Maintain a deep understanding of emergent SC technologies potentially applicable to manufacturing Deodorants.
* Review legislation and Hygiene requirements likely to affect the manufacturing and component suppliers operation.
* Developing and maintaining assessment protocols for technology supplier evaluation.
* Supporting benchmarking and cost modeling of new technologies.
* Supporting the development of new technology strategies, processing machinery systems logic, which will lead to a step change in manufacturing capability in SC development and Innovation planning.
* Provide Strategic technical input to the relevant Global Virtual Sites as required.

* Responsible for project management and support for the Supply Chain elements of business critical projects on a global scale.
* Represent Deodorants Category for global projects working seamlessly across functional and regional boundaries.

* Lead Early Product Management work for key innovation projects together with RD community and the leading regional SU Innovation teams to ensure products are designed for easy, cost effective manufacture and in line with efficiency improvement targets.
* Assist in further strengthening of the process EPM documentation and maintenance of existing processes.
* Build strong working relationships with RD departments providing robust understanding of SC capability and key dependencies.

* Develop feasibility studies for new innovation and breakthrough SC manufacturing technology.
* Work closely with UEnS, regions and lead sites to ensure Core Design is applied, extended and maintained.

* Support and promote professional engineering execution in the Country Clusters.
* Pro-actively follow TPM principles in the workplace and work content.
* Identifies/implements short and long term strategic Innovation projects and Supply Chain improvement programs. Ensures timely delivery of all Innovation work programs across several manufacturing locations. Provides technical leadership for 1st region and support for follower regions.
* Pro-actively participates in Innovation teams to advise on Design for Manufacturing/SC concepts in close partnership with Product, Process and Packaging Development, SC Capabilities Quality, Supply Management and Customer Logistics.
* Technical support for Innovation Risk Assessments, plant trials, raw material and packing material assessments and validation, in -house and co-making manufacturing capabilities and assessments, commissioning and post-completion audits.
* Identifies and implements step change improvements in manufacturing performance through cycle time improvement, flexibility enhancement, harmonization and/or asset productivity and step - change quality improvements.
* Works across Product Group technology platforms to share best practices and provides technical leadership as a member of Category GVS and RVS teams.

* Good understanding of the packing and process machinery technologies associated with an FMCG company.
* Able to prepare machine specifications and machinery project management networks.
* Business Economics understanding of the impact of capital equipment ownership on the business.
* Comprehensive knowledge of packaging and raw material conversion process, processing and quality.
* Must be able to work cross functionally and cross regions in project teams.
* B.S. or B.E. degree in Engineering (i.e. Chemical, Mechanical) or equivalency education with demonstrated working experience.
