Process Engineers Job in Edmonton, Alberta Canada

Description:

Design Group is currently recruiting for Junior / Intermediate/ Senior PROCESS ENGINEERS for our local EPC client.

 

Required Experience:

·       Minimum 5 years of broad progressive work experience in design engineering, science or other relevant types of engineering such as systems startup, field engineering or plant operation in large industrial plants, utilities, process plants, or engineering / construction firms.   

·       Preferred work experience in home office and site positions.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

·       A recognized degree or diploma in an engineering or scientific discipline from an accredited college or university, OR a professional license in an appropriate engineering discipline from a recognized licensing board, OR;

·       Sufficient number of specialized courses in relevant general engineering or appropriate engineering disciplines to meet job requirements, AND;

·       Practical work experience in design engineering or relevant equivalent experience in allied types of engineering sufficient to demonstrate competence as a trained engineer.

·       Excellent communication skills (Oral and Written).

·       Knowledge of industry/regulatory codes and standards.

·       Intermediate to advanced computer skills.

 

Typical Responsibilities:

§  Provide comprehensive complex engineering and design services by establishing the design criteria and implementing the preparation of specifications, design computations and deliverables in accordance with project requirements

§  Plan, develop, coordinate, review and report the progress of process engineering work on a project or assignment. 

§  Perform, or supervise the performance of, detailed process calculations.

§  Review and approve key Process engineering drawings and calculations, including field and design documents relating to the discipline.

§  Coordinate with client representatives as delegated to obtain their approval on phases of work.

§  Coordinate assigned engineering work with other project groups.
