Job Title: Bus Process Analyst/Engineer 3

Location: Richmond, VA

 

Level II/III Process Engineers

Skills: Total of 5-10 years in process work, ideally in financial services industry. Strong communication and facilitation skills required; also expertise using Visio and other process mapping tools. Must have prior experience leading Kaizens with business SMEs to develop process documentation. Must be skilled working with business SMEs and stakeholders that are not process trained; and be able to grasp difference between high and medium level business processes and procedures. Should have background in process gap identification and development (FMEA and other similar tools) of appropriate controls. Prior experience in creating standardized approach for process codification and developing a user-friendly “process catalogue” ideal. Ability to team effectively with process and project colleagues; able to work under pressure.

Industry experience: Financial services; banking would be optimal; risk management experience a plus.

Other relevant experience: Prior background with matrixed team large scale efforts under tight deadlines, and experience using some agile practices (visual tools, for example). Prior Capital One engagements a plus.

Start date and duration: April-May start date; duration through December 2012-February 2013.

Certifications: Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt preferred. Design for Six Sigma and/or Value chain/Lean certifications ideal. Project management or change management training considered a plus.

Education: Bachelor’s degree necessary, concentration in statistics, engineering or economics preferred; Master degrees not necessary but a plus.

Other requirements: Engagement will require some out of town travel; about 25% in early stages (April-July/August). Must be available onsite otherwise.
