Process Maintenance Technician - Mechanical
As a Maintenance Technician with Newmont you will be required to monitor and maintain equipment in a fixed plant mining environment to ensure effective plant production, working a 8 on 6 off roster.
The major components or the process plant are listed below and all Process Maintenance Plant personnel are required to maintain and assist these areas as required.
- Primary crushing ( Gyratory Crushers)
- Secondary crushing ( Metso MP100 crushers)
- Territory crushing ( High Pressure Grinding Rolls)
- Conveyor systems.
- PM inspections in all area
- Operations of plant equipment (EWP/Forklift/Overhead crane/Dogging basic rigging/Hiab)
To be successful for this role you will have the following;
Mechanical Trade Certificate
A minimum of two years Maintenance experience in a large fixed plant environment.
Communication skills – verbal and written.
PC Skills
Exposure to CMMS SAP / Ellipse preferred
Knowledge and understanding of the statutory regulations relevant to safety and the environment for the mining industry.
Current "C" Class Drivers Licence.
