MANDATE:   
The Processes and Procedures Analyst is accountable for maintaining accurate and up-to-date procedure documentation and associated process maps for the AML Enterprise Operations group.  This role will focus on developing, enhancing and maintaining end-to-end process and supporting control frameworks.

The Process Optimization Analyst will work closely with the departmental Team Lead, and other members of the AML Enterprise Operations team, to;
* Understand impacts of change on AMLEO processes and procedures.  
* Update related documentation in a clear and timely manner.
* Identify opportunities for process and procedure improvements.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

A.   Process Excellence and Modeling
Design and implement end-to-end processes that ensure effective and efficient delivery of AMLEO services
B.   Business Delivery Operational Effectiveness
* Provide value-added change management support to enhance the departmental effectiveness
* Assist in the analysis and evaluation of new initiatives to understand and define effective change requirements.
* Liaise with other partners as the Subject Matter Expert regarding recommendation for optimal integration.

C.  Relationship Management
* Provide subject matter expertise and advice regarding AML Enterprise Operation to identify optimal process integration.
* Participate as the Subject Matter Expert on AML related strategies.

E. Change Innovation
* Maintain an understanding of money laundering and terrorist financing issues, including policies, procedures, regulations, industry best practices, criminal activities and developing trends.

To deliver on these accountabilities, the incumbent must have the following authorities:

Recommend Has the authority to provide recommendations for actions to mitigate risk.
Authority to identify and recommend changes to processes for maximum operational effectiveness

SCOPE AND IMPACT
This role supports the identification and on-going improvement of optimal AMLEO processes for continued compliance and mitigation of AML/ATF risks, penalties, and criminal charges for non-compliance.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
a) Knowledge
* Post Secondary Education with 1 - 3 years experience in AML/ATF
* Working knowledge of Bank Operations
* Working knowledge of applicable Bank systems
* Thorough knowledge of Process Optimization and Process Mining

b) Skills
* Analytical and problem-solving skills
* Organization Understanding
* Presentation, written, and oral communication skills
* Ability to multi-task and function on multi faceted initiatives  
* Teamwork skills
