Job Description:
URS is seeking a Process Specialist for the Pueblo Chemical Agent Destruction Pilot Plant project located in Pueblo, Colorado. Must be a US or Naturalized citizen.
The duration of this position is for approximately 24 months.
* Must be competent in developing, analyzing, and modifying technical documents of varying complexities.
* Experience in reviewing engineering designs, calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports.
* Must have working knowledge of the Field Material Request (FMR) process, including generation and tracking of FMR's
* Must have working knowledge of the Material Withdrawal Requests process, including the integrated supply chain and materials management system.
* Must have a working knoweledge of Engineering practices, including familiartity with the Standard Engineering Instructions
* Must have working knowledge with cradle-to-grave life cycle of Field Change Requests (FCR) and Field Change Notices (FCN)
* Must have working knowledge of Systemization Change Requests (SCR) and Systemization Change Notices (SCN)
* Must have Subcontract Technical Representative experience in the management of subcontracts, providing technical oversight, with respect to specifications, statement of work, and performance of work.
* Must be a U.S. or Naturalized citizen.
Desired Qualifications:
* Strong background in developing technical solutions for design or process related issues.
* Experience at the Pueblo chemical Agent Pilot Plant (PCAPP).
* Experience at a toxic or hazardous work site.
* Prior experience at a Dept. of Defense or Dept. of Energy site and/or with a Dept. of Defense or Dept. of Energy program.
Licenses/Certifications:
* Professional engineer license preferred.
