Process Technician III - Medical Devices

Job Description:
Under close supervisory direction, assist process development engineers/teams in the development of products, processes and equipment in support of manufacturing of medical devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate technical plans, reports and analyses for equipment and processes (e.g., process capability, Gage RR, and basic statistics).
  • Assist in development of processes for new product development.
  • Assist in manufacturing of new products.
  • Coordinate complex builds for projects including Design Verification, Process Validations and DOE.
  • Develop and procure equipment/fixtures, including generating qualification protocol, performing qualifications on complex equipment, and documenting results.
  • Perform scrap analysis and implements corrective action.
  • Generate and update process documentation, including prints, processes, and change requests.
  • Serve as equipment, process, and/or systems expert in support of Technical Development Projects (TDP) and Product Development Projects (PDP).
  • Communicate technical information to cross-functional team members.
  • Generate and implement new ideas for improving processes.
  • Train and serve as a resource to other employees.
  • Provide floor support for new product builds (e.g., troubleshoot equipment and manufacturing problems).

    Job Experience:
    Qualifications
    Typical minimum education/years experience: 2 year technical degree and 3—5 years technician experience.

    Minimum Education Required: Associate

    Years of Experience Required: More than 5 years
