Processing agent

Temporary processing job for leading banking organisation based in Manchester city centre. This is a contract role for 6 months working a 35 hour week, Monday to Friday.
Due to the nature of the business candidates will need to pass a strict vetting process including a credit check, please only apply if you think you will pass this.

Candidates will be working in a busy operations centre on the mailing team, dealing with a range of customer and product related processing and administrative tasks to maximise service and business performance.

Duties
Quality sampling customer letters for mailing campaigns
Checking information back to bank systems
Delivering high volumes of high quality work during busy periods
Working with team colleagues to enable seamless customer service
Undertaking a range of tasks to achieve performance targets
Addressing issues to senior agents to achieve the best outcome for customers and the business
Working in line with regulations and policies
Identifying and escalating areas for improvement
General admin activities to ensure efficient and compliant operation of the team
Proactively developing necessary skills and knowledge to provide advice and support to customers.

Requirements
Experience in banking is preferable
High level of numeracy, literacy and communication skills
Attention to detail
Experience of delivering high volumes of work
Working to tight deadlines under pressure
Delivering excellent customer service in many forms, including telephone, email, letter
Highly motivated and flexible to support the team in this busy time
