PROCESSOR ARCHITECT: COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS #1363070

NVIDIAs CPUs, GPUs and SOCs are among the most complex and efficient processors in the marketplace, and require a detailed understanding of performance and power characteristics relative to competing products. In this role, you will primarily gather and analyze performance and power data for devices ranging from smart phones and tablets to high-performance computing workstations and supercomputers. You should be familiar with multiple operating systems and be able to run benchmarks and applications under different configurations and settings. This would include configuring, troubleshooting different systems, adjusting system parameters/BIOS settings to tune performance, and organizing results for clear analysis. You will directly contribute to the overall efficiency and feature set of our next generation chips and the growth and success of NVIDIA.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience with both performance and power measurements and analysis
- A strong working knowledge of Linux, Android, Windows XP/7, C, C++, Perl, Python, OpenGL, Direct X and D3D
- Experience with compiling and installing GCC and cross-compiling applications for different platform architectures. Knowledge of profiling tools desirable
- Able to set up, interface and work with advanced lab equipment for power measurements, e.g: DAQs, power-supplies
- Must be able to work with computer components, build computer systems from components and multi-task on multiple experiments
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to condense large amounts of data/information into meaningful summaries
