We have an exciting permanent opportunity with a large international company in RTP! Ideal candidate would have 10+ years prior experience in leading various aspects of both the architectural and micro-architectural definition and implementation of high-performance microprocessors, from design conception to project planning to successful production. What you will be working with and doing:
· Prototype solutions through modeling, fpga or test chips while working with a world class processor team to bring power and performance advantages to our processors to address novel applications and use cases.
· Collaborate with schools startups with promising technology
· Lead projects prototyping the above concepts
· Work with existing processor architects to introduce new technology into the design
· Building processor models at different levels of abstraction
Processor performance analysis
Requirements:
· ARM architecture and assembly-level programming
Multiprocessor heterogeneous processing
· Hardware virtualization
· Security architecture
· Weakly-ordered memory models
· System-on-chip bus architecture
· High-level operating system functionality
· High-performance/low-power circuit design
· Low-level debug and trace mechanisms]
· C++ development skills
