Process/Specialty Engineer II (Mining & Metals) Job in Dublin, California Us
Position will work on copper concentrator projects as well as other mining related mineral processing, metallurgical and metals processing projects. May prepare study reports and project reports for presentation to the clients.
Other duties include:
- Developing Process Flow Diagrams for Mining Metals Project
- Developing mass and energy balances
- Working with various engineering disciplines to develop equipment lists
- Developing PIDs
- Carrying out process calculations and work with MM related software
- Developing specs and process data sheets
- Carrying out pipes and pump calculations
- Prepare schedules, design basis, and progress reports
- Fluid mechanics and hydraulic calculations
- Chemical reactions and equations
- Metals processing
- Scribe for Process HAZOP Review (PHR)
- Develop process plant commissioning plans and participate in the commissioning as required
- Aiding in development of capital operating costs for the mining metals projects
- Develop and Work with project proposals for the mining metals clients.
Participation in live presentations to the clients
* 8+ processing / chemincal engineering experience in the Mining and Metals Industry
* Bachelor or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering (process) or Mineral Processing required
* Must have METSIM (Metallurgical Simulations) experience
