Specific Job Description Coordinates the development of requests for requirements of materials and services to support purchase order and subcontract placement. Generates complex electronic requisitions, performs material tracking, communicates status for supplier order processing, and material receipt in a SAP enterprise resource planning system. Interfaces with representatives in the shipping, receiving, inventory control and property management departments for the performance of US government and international contracts. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Standard Job Description Participates in the identification of raw materials, components, and related requirements from engineering and production specifications and schedules for the performance of US government and international contracts. Coordinates with engineering the purchase, planning and material movement throughout manufacturing and inventory sequences. Supports the development of proposals, follows up on orders placed, and maintenance of necessary records of material movement throughout manufacturing and inventory cycle(s). Insures the coordination and follow up with production, warehouse, and engineering personnel to provide information about procurements, scheduling of deliveries, and movement of materials and services.
