No Security Clearance Required about security clearance definitions Position Description There are multiple Operations Procurement Agent positions available in Boeing Commercial Airplane (BCA) Supplier Management across commodities and Puget Sound locations. Position requirements: Acts as an authorized agent of the company with the responsibility to commit company resources through contracts and agreements for the procurement of goods and services. May interpret and enforce contract terms and conditions. Documents procurement decisions, creates contract correspondence and may administer contract changes between the company and suppliers. Integrates and coordinates internal and external customer requirements to establish and document procurement requirements consistent with customer expectations. Combined role procurement agents will develop and issue requests for information, quotations and proposals. Assists in conducting bidder conferences as required. Ensures compliance with all relevant Boeing procedures and contract requirements. Integrates activities with internal and external customers and suppliers to fulfill contract requirements and reconcile contract issues. Gathers and evaluates performance data. Meets with suppliers and Boeing partners and discuss performance-related issues. Builds successful supplier relationships. Assists in development of supply base strategies. Employs project management tools (e.g., earned value management, risk management, contingency planning and integrated schedules, etc.) as required to manage supplier performance, including technical, quality, cost and schedule. Supports or participates in supply chain integration or enterprise process improvement teams. Leads and conducts Production Readiness Assessments, Program Management Reviews and develops quality improvement plans. Basic Qualifications For Consideration Do you have experience in supplier management, procurement, supply chain, negotiations, industrial engineering or manufacturing engineering? Do you meet the criteria described in the "Typical Education / Experience" section of this requisition? Are you willing to travel as required for this position? Typical Education/Experience Level 3 - Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Level 4 - Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Other Job related information Positions are available in multiple Puget Sound locations. Positions will require domestic and/or international travel. Current Boeing candidates must have been in their current position for a minimum of one year in order to be considered.
