Procurement Analyst - Third Party/Vendor Relationship Management

About the Job
Third Party Risk Management Representative position is be responsible for defining scope, assessing, developing, managing and vendor relationships across the line of business. The Third Party Risk Management Representative will coordinate with Line of Business, Risk Partners, i.e. Corporate Security, Legal, Corporate Procurement, and etc. for effective management of all third party relationships.
Essential Job Functions
- Develop, implement and execute the Third Party Program ensuring that vendors that host, manage, or have custody of the Company's information and assets adhere to appropriate controls. The process needs to include:
- Ensuring that proper controls are included in vendor management plan in alignment with industry best practices, corporate policies and bank regulations.
- Analyzes vendor management plans, monitors the quality of vendor services, and identifies opportunities for program improvement. Assists with vendor selection, contract negotiations, and contract administration. Monitors, analyzes, and maintains vendor information and documentation.
- Assessing LOB and Vendor control results on a periodic basis; certifying results are adequate and/or ensuring remediation of control weaknesses are appropriate identified and managed.
- Interface with LOB Vendor Coordinators, Engagement and Vendor Managers to ensure they are aware of their vendor's control environment and are effectively managing their vendors.
- Interface with Risk Partners (internal and external) to ensure program meets or exceeds risk requirements.
- Creating vendor control metrics for communication to LOB, vendors, Risk Partners and executive management.
- Engaging Corporate Sourcing, LOB management, Corporate Information Security, Corporate Continuity Recovery and other areas to bring their technology control activities into a seamless process.
- Engaging vendors as necessary to assess their control environment including periodic site visits, voice and/or electronic communication, surveys, etc.
- Evaluating whether automation would be cost beneficial and effective for the process.
- Identify, coordinate and monitor LOB training and awareness needs.
- Promotes awareness within LOB, Vendors and Risk Partners of Federal and industry regulations such as OCC Bulletin 2001-47, GLBA, etc.
- Develops and manages a self-audit process for Senior Third Party Program Manager.
- Ensures proper record retention, maintenance and storage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree
- 2+ years of broadly based, progressive experience in one or more of the following: corporate communications, compliance, or information security environments, or management experience within a highly regulated operational environment with responsibility for internal control documentation, testing, and evaluations.
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
- Ability to exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation of criterion for obtaining results
- Demonstrated ability in management reporting, and knowledge of financial reporting and analysis
- Proven track record as an effective team player
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office products in order to create reporting capabilities and presentation slides
- Outstanding organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Procurement, Risk Management, Compliance or Security certification
- Understanding of federal and industry regulations associated with information security, such as OCC Bulletin 2001-47, GLBA, etc.
- Proven experience with management reporting, and knowledge of financial reporting and analysis
- Proven track record as an effective team player
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office products in order to create reporting capabilities and presentation slides.
