The work location is Northfield, IL 3-4 days with 1 day in Chicago. The approximate duration is 3/26/12 - 11/25/12. This is a short-term temporary position at 40 hours per week. Responsibilities: Indirect procurement support. Source suppliers, submit information to supervisor, coordinate payment terms, control and organize services, place orders, monitor payments. Assist HR Category Manager in ad hoc requests. Utilize templates to collect required data from suppliers and review with category leads, work with Internal and external contacts, Category Lead and suppliers, manage / report on progress against timelines, Skills / Experiences: Written / verbal communication ability to develop communications to convey needs and report on progress. Excel / Office proficiency. Fluent in use of Office tools to gather required information. Analytical mind set. Understand Emptoris contract database, contract tracking technology. Project Management.
