Procurement BPR / Transformation Specialist recruitment
This role with sit within Supply Demand Management (SDM) which is a centralised service centre that manages all third-party Sourcing and Procurement activities within UBS.
The SDM Procurement organization is a global team, with a strong emphasis on specific purchasing requirements in each region. SDM Procurement is responsible for the professional management of all purchasing processes, with a focus on driving efficiency and effectiveness.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead individual process excellence projects including the identification, analysis and re-engineering of Procurement processes to reduce costs and drive best-in-class continuous improvement. Initiatives will be APAC regional and global focussed
- Partner with the local procurement operations team, internal stakeholders and suppliers to develop strategies and processes for the sourcing of goods and services, using the most cost-effective and efficient supply methods possible.
- Support local procurement teams in various operational activities and re-engineering initiatives with a strong focus on cost, error elimination and cycle-time reduction.
- Be pivotal in supporting the development and management of Procurement's global Operational Excellence programme and team
- Support local regional procurement teams in P2P roll out programme utilizing SAP front end requisitioning tool adhering to global project timelines
Requirements
• Experience and proven success in a Procurement related environment
• Transformation and change management experience
• Thorough understanding of procure to pay concepts and operational best practice
• Strong focus on process re-engineering and transformation project activities potentially in Six Sigma or Lean Sigma
• Strong project management skills
• Strong communication skills and gravitas to influence range of stakeholders
• Team player, ability to work under pressure and high flexibility
• Knowledge and experience with SAP/R3 would be beneficial
