Procurement Business Analyst / Taunton / Permanent / £22000 - £28000

The successful candidate will provide full and thorough support and guidance to the Procurement Team, delivering timely, effective and accurate business performance, financial analysis, forecasting and reporting services to Procurement customers and internal business projects.

Key Responsibilities-

· Accurately manage and maintain all Procurement data (including financial, performance and supplier related).
· Provide accurate reports, analysis and recommendations based on real time data for the Procurement teams, internal departments and external parties.
· Develop and implement a suite of key metrics, analyse internal performance and external benchmarking.
· Remain up to date on the development of new technologies and methodologies in order to enhance the provision of analysis and data.
· Support the Procurement team as requested. The role holder will be expected to take an overview of the department, collect SAP data, support SAP processes and provide the necessary support and guidance on procedures across the team.
· To manage all data cleansing, input and maintenance within the management information system.
· Provide the Procurement team and its stakeholders with expert support and guidance in relation to supporting the continuous development of appropriate business strategies, policies and procedures.

Required Experience and Skill Set-

· Extensive knowledge of analytical accounting
· Experience of Corporate financial systems and processes
· Strong presentation and business report writing skills
· Excellent written and verbal communications
· Analytical approach to problem solving
· Quick to build relationships with existing and new teams
· Experience of working in a results driven environment
