Role: Category Manager - Procurement - Fleet
Based: Middlesex
Remuneration: basic to £70k plus package
1st-executive are currently retained by one of the world's most prestigious organisations to source for the position of Procurement Category Manager - Fleet.
Operating with a global remit this role will be responsible for the qualification, selection, management and performance tracking of the client's fleet providers globally - covering personal cars, business cars and working vehicle fleets. As such there is a requirement for an individual with at least 5 years of fleet procurement experience within a major blue-chip organisation.
Initially responsible for 1 direct report a demonstrable ability to manage the performance and development of subordinates is preferred.
Working within an emotive category the successful applicant will, above all else, display an aptitude for managing internationally distributed stakeholders within a fragmented, matrix organisation.
Sitting at category management level this role enjoys exposure to senior stakeholders within one of the world's largest multi-nationals and therefore the successful applicant will enjoy exceptional career progression opportunities.

Requirements:
- Degree educated/calibre
- Possesses at least 5 years fleet procurement experience
- Blue-chip background with global experience/remit
- Exceptional presentation skills - this role requires delivering reports/training to ~200 individuals
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills within matrix environment
