Job Description
Working alongside Snr Category Managers the successful applicant will be responsible for a range of indirect procurement categories
Working with other senior members of the Category Management team you will develop category strategies.
- Manage and continuously improve contract and supplier management plans.
- Manage the relationships and performance of the selected suppliers to ensure maximum value is realised from the contracts that are established.
- Challenge demand internally to ensure the usage of supplier services and products is efficient and necessary, therefore producing additional savings.
- Identify areas for improvement and development, assisting the organisation to operate best practice procurement.
The Successful Applicant
You will display first class procurement technical skills coupled with a strong subject matter expertise within the relevant category areas.
You will be driven, proactive and consultative in approach, having previous experience within blue-chip organisations, and be able to give practical examples of how you have helped to lead change, established procurement strategies and driven procurement outcomes.
