Procurement Finance Analyst
Major Financial Services client based in London are currently looking to add an analyst to their procurement team. We re looking for candidates with a minimum of 2 years experience in data analysis and project support (VBA useful) to join the team.
You will provide accurate and timely management information relating to the use of external suppliers and departmental performance to help ensure the department maximises its value to the firm and to support the achievement of Departmental goals and objectives, particularly in the areas of Category Management and achievement of 3rd party cost savings.
This post will work closely with Category Managers and Finance teams to generate robust cost modelling tools and the key focus is reporting on procurement spend opportunities, and the delivery of savings initiatives.
- Drive the use, accuracy and development of the firm’s Spend Analytics
- Monitor, validate and report on savings achieved by the firm by category of spend
- Analyse, consolidate and report on detailed spend data provided by external suppliers (e.g. Travel, Purchasing Cards, Legal Services)
- Support Commercial Managers in the generation and presentation of spend data
- Validate spend data with Finance and other Business stakeholders
- Support firm wide projects where Procurement have specific work stream responsibilities
- Support Commercial Managers in the RFI and RFP process as necessary, such as providing operational support in the assessment of supplier bids and tenders
- Monitor and report on Departmental work planning and scheduling
- Compliance monitoring of sourcing and purchasing policy and processes
- Develop and implement 3rd party supplier risk management processes
- Contribute to the development and implementation of enterprise-wide purchase to payment processes and systems across the Group
Candidates need not be qualified but must have strong data analytics experience.
