They undertake a range of projects within the Education, Retail, Commercial and Social Housing Sectors.
A position has become available overseeing the Procurement Department within the Construction Division.
Responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing subcontract services and material contracts
- Managing a team of buyers
- Manage the department from pre-construction stage to final account
- Offer the best value at all times
- Be responsible for recruitment and performance of new and existing members of staff.
- Be able to negotiate subcontract services and material contracts
- Have operated in an office based environment at pre-construction stage.
- have a track record in delivering significant cost reduction across the division
- Exposure to strategic procurement strategy.
- Be able to negotiate with suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Advanced contract negotiation and supplier management skills
- Be from a Social housing or Main Contractor background
