A global mining company, one of the largest in the world has a new opportunity for a Procurement Supervisor to join the shared services procurement team.
In this role you will be responsible for efficient and cost effective supply of goods and services to operations. You will be required to interface with stakeholder and external suppliers, focussed on delivering financial savings through the formation and ongoing management of procurement contracts.
You will be responsible for the management of a procurement team of 12.
Hence we require someone with tertiary qualifications in Logistics,Finance,engineering or supply chain. You will have worked within a large organisation for a minimum of 10 years, ideally within a shared services environment. Experience working within the mining industry would be a benefit.
You will have succinct communication skills and have the ability to share information. Results driven, decisive, with excellent conceptual and analytical skills are other key attributes within this role.
