Product Analyst – Core Banking recruitment
Banking and Financial Services Group (BFS) is the primary relationship manager for Macquarie's retail client base in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, North America and Europe.
Products and services include wealth management, stockbroking and retail lending and banking solutions such as residential and commercial mortgages, investment lending, credit cards and relationship banking to businesses and professionals.
Macquarie's Relationship Banking Division (MRB) provides specialised and innovative banking services and is renowned for its market leading products and facilities. Working within the MRB Product team, you will have responsibility for the day-to-day management of a defined suite of products offered to the Relationship Banking client base. You will support the business by undertaking a number of activities to drive overall commercial revenues, define strategic direction, enhance client satisfaction and maintain regulatory compliance.
Reporting to the Product Manager, your key responsibilities will be:
- Being the key lending product contact for internal stakeholders including Collateral Management, CRA and BFS Liquidity Capital, Service and Operations, and Credit;
- Working closely with the technology team to develop the functionality of the product related platform;
- Assist as a subject matter expert for product-related projects;
- Undertake market and competitor analysis;
- Act as a key liaison for product related collateral; and
- Improve product sales performance through strong engagement with distribution channels and marketing;
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in a business related discipline;
- Demonstrated experience in the financial services industry with specific exposure to lending products and rates;
- An ability to interpret data and create basic financial models;
- Strong communication and influencing skills; and
- Be able to build strong working relationships and work as part of a team;
- Exposure to risk management disciplines; and
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and experience in data interrogation an advantage.
