Currently we are seeking individuals for the following position:
Product Analyst
Compensation (Hourly Range): $20.00 - $22.00
Product Analyst Job Responsibilities
· Responsible for analyzing documentation and performing appropriate service disposition of Engineering released assemblies and components, releasing and cataloging parts required to service the vehicle, performing catalog maintenance, and responding to customer inquiries as they relate to catalog concerns.
· Review Engineering release of assemblies and components and assign service part numbers for assigned commodities to support all new model vehicle programs and ongoing vehicle part changes as appropriate.
· Analyze WERS (engineering release system), blueprints, CAD data, Bills of Material, Product Letters, Marketing information, and other reference materials to determine the most appropriate service part levels required for the vehicle repair. Analysis includes identifying inaccuracies and/or incompleteness of engineering documentation, and working with Engineering to ensure future service requirements are considered.
· Catalog service parts for assigned commodities in a manner that reduces Dealer inquiries.
· Collaborate with Illustrators to ensure accurate illustrations are developed for assigned commodities.
· Respond to all Dealer and internal client-customer inquiries to ensure timely resolution of identified concerns.
· Work with Suppliers, Packagers, and internal client activities to resolve part availability issues.
· Complete all job responsibilities within established timeframes
Product Analyst Skills Required to be considered:
· Mechanical and/or technical aptitude required
· Strong computer navigation skills required
· Familiarity with Microsoft applications (Windows, Word, Excel)
· Ability to read blueprints CAD data
· Must be detail oriented with an ability to multi-task, and adhere to established deadlines
· Enjoy working in a team environment
· Good interpersonal and organizational skills required
Product Analyst Minimum Education Required:
· Associate/Bachelor degree preferred or equivalent work experience in automotive service or parts business
