Product and Communications Manager recruitment

We are currently recruiting a Product and Communications Manager for our Cards Services Business. In this role you will manage communications and execute product strategies to optimise key profitability drivers whilst maintaining strong engagement with our Clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on learning/ development opportunities and enjoys having a multi-faceted role. This role will give you exposure across 3 key areas, namely Product Management, Communications and Relationship Management.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Management
- Develop and execute strategies to optimise key product profitability drivers.
- Manage Direct Expense inputs with Finance to ensure within budget.
- Own the product value propositions to ensure relevant and compelling product suite in market. This will include regular competitor reviews and managing projects to introduce new products or make changes to existing products.
- Develop solid knowledge of key credit and risk policies and manage impact to campaign execution and product profitability.
- Own the profit model process working closely with Finance, Risk, DM Marketing to deliver profitable and competitive offers on time.
Communications
- Manage regular Client communications (e.g. Monthly MasterCard Matters e-newsletter, InTouch Newsletter and Client Briefs)
- Review all Activity Briefs (including communication material) within SLAs and proactively provide input to stakeholders on new initiatives.
- Prepare and present regular Client reviews (including presentation development containing new proposals, project status updates and performance data with analysis).
Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders as well as external Clients.
- Manage/facilitate monthly Client performance reviews to ensure both parties objectives are being met.
- Act as the liaison point between Clients and internal stakeholders to address ad-hoc requests and ensure smooth campaign execution and strong Client engagement and satisfaction.
- Manage Client activity such as on-boarding new entrants, merging existing Clients and exiting Clients from the program (in conjunction with Partner Solutions).
Experience/ Qualifications required:
- Minimum 4 years experience in a Product/Communications capacity
- Credit Card experience preferred
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing or Communications preferred
- Superior interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task under pressure, in a fast-paced environment
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Positive and results oriented attitude
