My client a developer of scientific instrumentation is looking to recruit a Product Applications Manager, to provide sales and marketing support to the company's sales teams whilst managing the company's applications department to develop and identify new business areas and uses for the equipment.
Ideal candidates will have a background in the development and marketing of scientific instrumentation for example; optics, spectroscopy, microscopy, lasers, imaging and other high value, high tech scientific equipment.
Key Requirements
• An understanding of how the purchasing/sales of capital equipment is conducted.
• High level of technical knowledge in the development of scientific instrumentation.
• Market knowledge of the materials industry is essential and some knowledge of the life science industry is desirable.
• A background in Product Management but also with commercial and marketing knowledge and skills.
