Product Assurance Engineer: A major Defence Engineering organisation is currently looking for a contract Product Assurance Engineer to join their team in Edinburgh to work closely with the Product Assurance Team Lead in supporting the product assurance activities in AESA Surveillance ensuring customer requirements are achieved in quality of delivered product.
Product Assurance Engineer Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver Equipment to Specification and Customer Requirements
* Failure Reporting and Analysis
* Attendance at FRB/MRB meetings
* Supplier Product Assurance
* Engineering support
* Auditing
* Conduct PCA, FCA, FAI acceptance
* Final Test and Workmanship acceptance
* Product Release
* Production Readiness Reviews
Product Assurance Engineer Qualifications and Experience:
* Qualified to HND standard and have experience of
- Customer Requirements
- Planning Documentation
- Manufacturing Documentation
- Workmanship Standards
- Failure Reporting in SAP
* Previous experience of working in an Operations environment
* Knowledge of workmanship standards particularly IPC-610
