Product Communication Specialist recruitment
Key Responsibilities
• Respond to written requests, i.e. within Due Diligence, RFPs and RFIs, ensuring that all requests are fulfilled on time and to a high and consistent standard Additional involvement and oversight should include, with close coordination with the Investment Marketing team’s Product Managers, assigned asset class presentation slides and the writing of product-specific materials including factsheet commentaries and Manager’s Reports
• In addition to owning and updating RFP responses in our RFP software QA database, contribute to the development of the RFP activities through project work; review procedures to identify efficiencies that can be gained
• Together with Product Managers, ensure that all product information and output with respect to assigned asset classes is available in an integrated product directory in a uniform, clear, concise and accessible format
• Take ownership and responsibility for the completion of asset class and product descriptions within consultant databases
• Take responsibility for verifying standard investment team data, i.e. team headcount, leavers joiners, assets under management, etc.
• Provide comprehensive product support to all IP distribution and marketing channels
• Contribute strongly to any local or global sales support activities, as deemed appropriate
Skills experience
• It is essential that you have experience in investment/marketing communications within the financial services industry, in particular within a RFP capacity
• A good understanding of financial markets and the fund management industry and eagerness to learn more
• Strong general IT skills, especially in Word and Excel packages
• Understanding of IT investment packages such as Lipper, Datastream, Bloomberg and Micropal, would be helpful
• Degree or a similar qualification
• IMC or a similar securities industry qualification would be an advantage
• Strong written and oral communication skills
