Product Communications Associate recruitment

The Product Communications Associate's primary roles are to produce expertly written, research-based materials and communications relevant to the Company’s investment products and to serve as an in-house, expert resource for Franklin Square’s product management and sales marketing teams to draw upon. As such, the candidate is expected to: (i) possess a high degree of financial acumen as well as an understanding of the basic tenets of portfolio management, (ii) must demonstrate an ability to develop informed opinions concerning a broad range of asset classes and investment strategies and (iii) must exhibit a strong aptitude for writing in a persuasive, cogent and concise manner. The candidate is also expected to be fluent in matters concerning personal investment management and financial markets in general.

As a primary liaison between Franklin Square’s product management and sales marketing teams, the candidate must be comfortable in an environment that requires frequent interaction with a variety of people, including Franklin Square’s customers (i.e. the investment advisors who place their clients in Franklin Square’s products). As a respected expert vital to Franklin Square’s marketing efforts, the candidate is expected to possess strong written and verbal skills and a drive for creative and independent thought. Experience with marketing and client development in the financial services industry will be viewed as a plus.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

1.2-10 years of relevant experience (investment research, economic research, investment management, investment banking, financial journalism or a related field).

2.4-year degree from a prestigious undergraduate institution.

3.MBA or CFA will be viewed as a plus, but not required.

4.Strong technical writing skills in fields of finance and investment management.

5.Training and teaching skills viewed upon favorably.

Writing samples will be required from qualified candidates.

Compensation will be market competitive and will include a base salary with a performance-based bonus.
