Product Consultant Job in Cambridge, Anglia Uk
Ibell Cowlin are working in partnership with expanding client that provide for the management of energy across many sectors including retail, manufacturing, health, education and local government.
The product consultant will be responsible for the installation of software on external sites. This involves the commissioning of the software, setting up of sites, reports and alerts, as well as ensuring the best practices are adhered to.
This position will also require follow up visits to ensure the customer is getting the best out of the package. The role will also involve some pre-sales work with our sales team and training our end customers on the solution.
Essential Experience
You must have a computer science degree.
Experience of :Providing consultancy services for a software product.
Training end users.
Providing Pre-Sales Support
Setting up and configuring Software
Extensive experience of software which runs Microsoft Windows, SQL, IIS and ASP.net.
In order to travel to our office and visit customer sites, it is essential that you have a car and a clean driving licence.
Desired Experience
Experience of the energy, metering or building controls industry.
Project management of software/hardware implementations, and requirements gathering.
Training end users.
Personal Characteristics
You should be self-motivated and prepared to work independently, as required.
You will be able to liaise with client representatives at all levels.
Prepared to meet project timescales and help ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget.
You will be an excellent communicator and confident in delivering training.
