Product Control Business Analyst - Finance IT / London / £75k
A Global Investment Bank requires a strong AVP to join their Finance IT desk. The main function of this role is to perform business and technical analysis for the Finance IT team including Product Financial Control, Operations and Middle Office. This role offers high exposure to key stakeholders in the business and had fantastic career progression
Responsibilities:
- Produce and Analyse daily exception reports including managing issues to the right owner and produce weekly MI for tracking purposes.
- New release testing - participate in testing activities as releases/code changes impact the desk.
- Issues Management - raise new production issues as they arise and ensure all issues are prioritised and report their status on a regular basis to relevant parties.
- Process Improvement - Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions and identify gaps to close.
Requirements:
- Previous line Product Control is imperative, cross asset knowledge is preferable.
- Proven track record in project/BA work within a product control desk.
- Accountancy qualified
- Ideally have experience in translating business requirements to design and technical requirements.
