Product Control – Global FX VP/AVP recruitment
Our client, a global investment bank, is looking to bolster its workforce and hire two new product control AVP or VP's into its dynamic team. The bank well established within the Singapore market and these roles will have strong career progression components in the long term within the greater business.
Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing new products and valuation techniques
- Ensuring accuracy in reporting and mantain a set quality
- Daily PL production and review for front office sign off and reconciliation to traders estimates
- Providing risk based commentary om daily PL and giving explanations on new large deal PL commentary of desk performance monthly
- Streamlining and preparation of MI
- Pricing verifications
- Bid offer reserving and other valuation adjustments
- Overview and development of strong control framework
- Maintaining and developing strong relationships with internal business partners such as front office, IT Operations and Finance.
- Developing and mentoring new staff
To be considered for this role you will ideally have previous experience in FX product control. You will have had exposure to interest rates derivave markets and detailed knowledge of fx products. Ideally you will also have a related accounting qualification.
