Product Control Manager- Middle Office
A leading global bank is currently seeking a Product Control Manager to lead a team of 8 and to drive a change agenda, working in partnership with counterparts in Risk, Front Office and Technology.
Operating within Middle Office, you/your team will be responsible for providing controlled and cost-effective post-trade processes including: trade capture validation and risk, balance sheet and PL control. Your focus will be on the Distressed Securities trading desk, which is one of the busiest and most forward thinking within the business. You will develop the team to ensure they are best in market, whilst also managing the change agenda and business growth of the Distressed trading desks.
This role would suit a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) who has a solid knowledge of loans, bond, structured derivatives and mortgages and a proven track record in driving change. Advanced Excel (to Macros/ VBA) and excellent communication skills are essential.
