Product Control Manager recruitment
They are looking for someone to come in and hot the ground running so that the existing member of staff performing these responsibilities can be afforded the time to clean up the end of year reconciliations. Product Control experience is essential, ideally with futures and options experience. The role is an all encompassing Product Manager role, including the daily performance reports, along with Change mangement and people management duties.
Responsibilities to include:
• To assist with production of daily performance reports for Desk Management and obtain Desk sign-off
• To assist with ensuring that all relevant reconciliation of accounting records to product sub-ledgers is performed and breaks cleared/escalated on a timely basis
• To help ensure there is adequate oversight of all key control reconciliations supporting the product balance sheet, including reconciliations performed outside of Finance, and that breaks cleared/escalated on a timely basis
• To provide additional daily MIS to Desk and Management that enhances control or is value added
• To be generally aware of the business and issues of the desks, and to escalate material issues effectively to Finance or Desk management
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with either brokerage or Investment Banking experience in Product Control. Advanced excel skills are a big advantage with strong communications a given as the role will be working with an established team who work within a dynamic yet sociable working environment.
