$180k to 270k pa base plus bonuses

Our client is a prestigious and well-known Tier 1 global bank, with a strong presence in the world’s major financial centers. Due to ongoing efforts of expansion in Singapore, they presently have a leadership role in product control at the VP / SVP level. You will have the opportunity to grow and lead a team and play a critical role as the team's scope continues to expand in tandem with hubbing efforts.

You will be supporting the emerging markets trading businesses across the Region

Responsibilities include:

- Management of a team of 12-15 comprising of associates and AVPs

-Preparation of the daily Profit Loss reports including reconciliation, analytical review and providing commentary for PL movements

-Production and review of weekly independent price testing processes.

-Balance sheet substantiation and control

You will also be expected to participate actively in the identification and implementation of key initiatives that relate to system/ workflow enhancements, accounting changes and centralization of processes within Product Control.

Good working knowledge of derivative products from any asset class is highly desirable.

You should be accounting-qualified with at least 10 years of experience in Product Control with an investment bank in either one of the main product areas and their associated derivatives for example Equities, Credit, FX/MM and Rates with supervisory experience preferred. Candidates with strong financial control experience in banking or strong big 4 banking audit experience who are keen to develop themselves in product control are most welcome to apply for other less senior roles available. You should also be an ambitious and driven individual, who is highly adept at managing priorities in a fast-paced environment and be able to work well in a global and cosmopolitan team, with strong ambitions of developing an international career.
