Product Controller
Leadin Commodiity Trading business now requires a high calibre Product Controller to join their London office. The Product Control department produces and reconciles all the daily trading Profit and Loss reports and provides various month end analysis to Financial Control and other departments within the organisation. The team also has daily interaction with the Front Office and Middle Offices.
This role will have responsibility for:
- Daily profit loss production and reporting for a selection of Trading Books books.
- Resolving any queries from traders or other departments relating to profit loss, positions etc.
- Validation of forward curves and volatility curves.
The ideal candidate will be a newly qualificed accountant from either Practice or currently working in a similar role.
- Experience of profit loss analysis or accounting is essential.
- Knowledge of commodities/energy is desirable.
- Knowledge of derivatives, including futures, options and swaps is desirable.
- High level numeracy skills essential.
- Strong communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong focus on accuracy of information.
- Ability to work under pressure without compromising the quality of deliverables.
