Product Controller – all asset classes recruitment
As a Product Controller you would be responsible for:
investigating and resolving breaks in the P and L
Liasing with front office brokers and back office
Database integrity between the front and back office systems
Validation of monthly P/L on behalf of the accounting area
Producing the daily P/L for approximately 15 profit centres from trial balance
Reconciling the daily P/L to trader’s estimates and explaining any differences to traders / senior management
Managing the IBIS general ledger accounting system
Producing expected P/L prior to end of day
Will have up to 5 years experience working in a similar role within a Middle Office
The successful candidate must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Access and be IT literate
Knowledge of Kondor+, PRIME or IBIS is desirable
An interest in problem solving and a high level of integrity are essential as are analytical skills
