Product Controller (Capital Markets)
In this interesting position you will be responsible for the production and reporting of daily, weekly and monthly PL to traders and senior management, Trade booking and monitoring, Settlement and management reporting of Treasury transactions. Additionally, you will liaise with the trading desk, Market Risk Control, Compliance and Audit and other support functions to discuss and resolve ad-hoc issues. Furthermore, you will take initiative to enhance and improve control processes and support systems as well as contributing to various task performed within the team including cost reporting, SOX compliance, review of tax transfers and reconciliation of balance sheet control accounts.
The successful candidate will have a Finance or Accounting Degree and gained at least 3 years working experience in a similar role or in a Mid-Office function. Practical experience in dealing with Capital Market Products are a distinct advantage for this position. Additionally, good working knowledge of international and US accounting standards and previous exposure to accounting systems are desirable. Furthermore, the candidate should have very strong analytical skills, especially in analyzing products and system flows. Very good Excel, Access and Business Objects skills as well as fluent English are also essential assets for this position.
