Overview
Deutsche Bank's Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) combines a world-class investment-banking platform with an unrivalled network of global corporate banking relationships. CIB’s products and services include global markets (GM), global equities, global corporate finance, global transaction bank and research.
Global Business Services (GBS) provides Middle Office and Risk and Profit and Loss (PL) support to the Credit Correlation trading desk in London and New York.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for daily risk and PL production and verification for the Credit Correlation trading desk, dealing with Interest Rate Swaps, Bonds, Corporate Credit Default Swaps (CDS’), Index and Tranche Collateralised Debt Obligations (CDO’s)' and Bespoke Synthetic CDOs.
Your day to day responsibilities will include:
- Daily production and analysis of daily PL, PL explain, new deal review.
- Daily production and analysis of risk sensitivities.
- Modelling of exotic trades and booking into risk and PL engines.
- Maintenance and development of controls around the risk and PL process.
- Liaison with Trading, Trade Capture, Finance, Financial Reporting Group, Market Risk Management and Business Management.
Candidate requirements
You will have:
- Previous experience of working within Financial Services, ideally Investment Banking
- Previous experience of working with Credit Products
- The ability to analyse problems / design and implement solutions.
- The ability to work to meet daily deadlines.
You will be:
- IT literate – Especially in Excel
- Enthusiastic with an interest in products and markets.
- Accurate, thorough and highly responsible with a good attention to detail
- Degree qualified or equivalent, ideally within a quantitative discipline
- ACA, MBA, ANNA or CIMA Qualified or equivalent
